What we collect, what we don't, and how to ask us to delete it.

Vista Tranquila Publishers is a small bilingual children's-book press operated by Kim and Wayne Pitts. We do not have a marketing team and we do not sell or share your data. This page exists because districts ask for it before they cut a purchase order, and because anyone giving us their address deserves to know where it goes.

What we collect

• Order details. When you fill out the Curriculum Kit intake form or any other order form, we collect your name, role, school or organization, email, phone, and ship-to address. These fields are submitted to a transactional email service (Formsubmit) that forwards them directly to kimpitts@vistatranquila.com. The email then sits in Kim's inbox like any other email she receives.
• Subscription details. When you subscribe to the Heritage Gift Box, we collect the same contact and ship-to information plus a payment method (handled by Stripe via our storefront; we never see the card number).
• Nothing else. No tracking pixels. No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics beyond what Cloudflare records for security and uptime.

What we do with it

Send you what you ordered. Email you about your order. Add you to our quarterly newsletter only if you opt in (we do not opt anyone in by default). That is the entire list.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not share it with advertising networks.
• We do not train AI models on it.
• We do not retain it longer than we need it to fulfill your order and our tax records.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing kimpitts@vistatranquila.com. We will confirm the deletion within seven days. Residents of California (CCPA), the EU (GDPR), and other regions with data-protection laws have the same right under those frameworks; this page is our standing answer to it.

For school districts

If your district requires a signed Data Privacy Agreement or Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) form before placing a purchase order, we will execute yours. Email Kim with your district's preferred template.
